William Optics 70mm F6 APO

This is a mint condition Limited run Carbon Fibre Ferrari Anniversary edition William optics APO, with carry case and 7.5-22mm WO Zoom eyepiece and 45 degree diagonal.

Precision camera rotator, graduated focuser with 10:1 reduction.

Ultra-premium unit new price was over $1700

Would be an ideal eclipse scope

Keenly priced to sell at $800 plus post (wife says must "declutter!")

Yes, I've done so using the WO field flattener IV. It comes with a SCT to 1.25" adapter, but you'd need a SCT (eg Meade/Celestron) prime focus adapter otherwise.

Is it right that there were only 500 of these made or am I reading that wrong?

Hi Peter,
What is the colour correction like on these for AP use?
Are they a Doublet like the other ZS70's or a Triplet?
Cheers.

There were indeed only 500 units made. I think the objective is a Fluorite doublet, however, the colour correction is decidedly better than Zenithstars.

I have not detected any lateral colour using it as a telephoto.

My apologies! it's actually F6.2 , not F6.
