[SOLD] Vixen R200SS

The downsizing continues.

Up for grabs, a Vixen R200SS f/4 reflector with Moonlight focuser. It also comes with a Losmandy D Plate. The scope is shown with a Meade/Vixen (one or the other there is no label on it) finderscope which I'll include for an extra $50. Its not illuminated but is a fairly good quality finderscope.

This is a pickup or deliver within $150km only. I don't have the box it came with unfortunately. The mirrors are in excellent condition as is the tube. There are some minor marks on the tube itself but they are not obvious. There is some old masking tape stuck to the bottom end of the tube where the weight of the tube has been written (9.5kg) which I haven't bothered to remove. I am not the original owner.

The Moonlight focuser does not come with a 1.25" adapter (nor endcap, I use an old shower cap over the focuser) but it has a slot in the side of the barrel so just about any 2"-1.25" adapter should fit. I've used WO and Meade with np. The tube covers of any vixen I've had are a bugga as they do not fit snuggly and have a tendency to fall off when pointed downwards. I have used blu-tak to hold it on but all of that has been removed for the sale.

All up including focuser, $1350. This is a bargain for someone wanting a good imaging scope.
