M8 and M20

Imaged last night, 20th June, using the 550d and Tamron 180mm Prime Macro.
1hr and 30min of exposure time all up. Shot at ISO800 at F5.6.

What a great lens. I'm going to set the alarm for the AM and see if I can nab me M31 through it.

You must have dark skies to get unmodded DSLR shots like these.

Looking forward to your M31 shot.

Beautiful work JJJ as usual. I don't know how you manage all those late nights, makes me tired just thinking about it.

This is just splendid, dust lane networks can be really appreciated at this scale.
