The "Custom User Titles" is the title beneath your name on the left-hand-side.
I've modified the forums so that you can change your custom user title if:
a) You have been registered for more than 1 day, and
b) You have made more than 5 posts.
To edit your custom user title, click on "profile" up in the top right hand corner (or click
here, then click "Edit profile" (2nd option along), and halfway down the page you'll see "custom user title".
Enter your text, and whalla, you're done!
