goto GEM mount

I'm after a goto equatorial mount with the ability to take my celestron 130eq with the dovetail mount.
If anyone wants to sell one let me know. I can't afford a new one, so í'll be patient and wait.
I actually can't understand the pricing on new mounts. An Orion/vixen mount in America cost $499. The same one to buy in Australia is about $1100.
Anyway, happy viewing.

Although not applicable to all brands the price difference with respect to Celestron products relates to dealer/distribution rights/contracts and hence why Celestron products seem to cost more here than in the US even though the exchange rate would suggest otherwise. Conversely Skywatcher doesn't have such a big presence in the US (ironically who now own Celestron). The trick is to buy things under $1000 from overseas if they reflect a substantial saving and you have confidence in the quality of their manufacture so as not to rely on warranty from a local dealer (who typically don't honour warranty from products purchased o'seas). The reason I mention 1k is that is the magic cut-off point where customs and duty kick in.
