I am selling this Celestron Advanced GT Computerised Mount. This is surplus mount as I already have other mount. It is in average condition, but operates perfectly. The tripod has 2" legs which give more stability to the mount.

Comes with:
Mount
Tripod
Hand controller and its holder
Counter weight (2x5.1kg)
12V power cable
Manual
Autoguide port for long exposure photography.

Brand new price over $1400 am I selling for $700.

Local pickup only.

If its a GT it should be fast to setup and rock steady on the back seat going up the highway

I can vouch these mounts are great mounts, grossly under-rated and shouldn't be confused with a EQ5 - they have a much better tripod and bearings inside. It is rock steady, spec'd to carry up to 16kg and super easy to set-up.

That's true.
The mount has option to approach the target from either side to reduce backlash
