Prometheus!!

Whoa, hadnt heard about this movie, but just watched Guy Pearce on 'The Project' and they showed a clip. This is a prequel to the fabulously scary 'Alien' and directed by Ridley Scott!! Bring it on.

Hi Liz

Your not the only one..After watching the trailer

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmJOO6D5RvA

there seems to be lots of visual links to the orginal Alien..It would be so nice if Ridley Scott can place the last piece of the puzzle to the Alien genre.

Regards Paul.

From what I gather is it's not so much a sequel or prequel to the Alien franchise that follows along the same storyline or timeframe as it was originally concieved but it is set in the same universe. They made a concerted effort to move it away from the Alien story.
Plus if things go to plan this movie might even get it's own sequel.

I'm looking forward to it a lot.

Hi,

I always felt that the scariest thing about the whole Alien film genre was that it is certain (I reckon, but that's just moi) that something like it exists somewhere in the Universe, maybe close

Cheers

On my list for sure, got some Gold Class tickets to use as this seems an good film to use them on. Xmas gift from mum-in-law, gives big comfy seats, food and wine while you watch. All I need is a Phaser in hand to keep them alien bugs off.
