I bought a TV 85 two years ago. It's a magnificent scope and compact enough that you really do use it as a grab and go, when you might not be bothered to drag the dob outside. The optics are so good it performs way beyond its aperture. I wish a used one had been around when I bought mine.

I know you have stated that you want to sell this as a package but IMHO I think many folks who would be interested in a TV85 probably wouldn't be interested in an EQ6 (for a number of reasons which don't imply anything bad about the venerable EQ6). However, individually I think both this mount and scope could be easily sold at the right price.

Interested in the EQ6 mount/tripod, but not really the telescope, if you change your mind on splitting. How old is the mount?
