I'm with Simon about the earthquake though, I'm thinking it was a fake quake

Cats react with their ears- see his ears keep leaning forward so it has me wondering if someone is playing with a piece of string or something to get him to look. If it was a sudden noise or any background noise for that matter, one ear will normally go back which in cat language normally points to confusion. Both ears back means someone's going to get hurt.

I just did a bit of back ground noise with one of my cats and sure enough one ear went right back.
And I know without doubt if that shaking happened in my house, my cats would run for cover.
Plus from what I've been reading from peoples reports I sort of came to understand it didn't shake as bad as on the video.

I'm no earthquake expert tho.
