Backdeck obs initial pics

Greetings, now have pier and pier footings. Mine is a two stage design which will be sandwiched with 5mm industrial rubber gaskets. The bottom half should go under the deck to allow use of deck if needed for other things, until I get my obs over it.
Concrete man seems to have coated the lower part of my bolts with concrete- any tips on getting this off?
Bolts will be cut to about 4 inches above the surface of the pad.

Nice work Graham , the company i last worked for sold xylene for clean up tools used for concrete. Grab some from bunnings and soak it and use a stiff brush to get it off. Any concrete store will sell it also maybe under the name or description of solvent for concrete sealer and tool cleaner.

Hi Graham, nice work I like that pier also. Did you construct it or buy it?

back yard obs

I designed it on the back of all the work everyone has done on here. Wanted bigger pipe but the welding shop were mystified by it already and had this sized pipe in stock. Heavy bugger.
Should be far superior to my bouncy wooden deck & tripod!
