On the transit bandwagon.

It takes something special these days to set the pst up in the crankin' sun and Wednesdays transit certainly counted . I didn't get too many Avi as it was more a viewing day but caught the important parts, start and finish with a few in between.

Best 500/900, PST & DMK21, Registax 6 and an attempt to colorize in PS. Its been so long I've forgotten how i used to do it. Might have a dig in the archives and find that pdf.

lol thanks Pete, sometimes i get lucky, though I'll admit that the seeing got better during the morning. Here's one from around 9. I'll forgo the colorization on this one.

High praise, thanks Matt.

Unfortunately I've had equipment failure on the rest. I accidently left the DMK sitting next to the Flamethrower exhaust fan port on my HP for about 4 hours and by the time I picked it up it was VERY HOT. This caused one corner in all the avi to be out of focus for some reason. I hope it hasn't permanently damaged it. I've not looked since packing up.

I hope the DMK is OK!?
That image is good too - the active region is not burned out - a great record of the event!

I like the mono image best I think. No the coloured one. Both are great. LOL

I haven't checked yet Marcus

Thanks Jeanette and Dave. I nearly didn't get them cos of the number of people wanting to have a Capt Cook. It was a fun day and i didn't get a single bit of assessment marked all day. What a shame .... though I'm paying for it now.
