Venus transit from Penwortham.

Hi,


These were taken in the afternoon between the clouds.
The first shows venus approaching the edge of the sun, the second entering last contact.


Telescope 8” f/4 astrograph on a HEQ Pro 5 mount, thousand oaks solar filter.
Canon 1100D at prime focus
ISO 100 at 1/2500 sec exposure.
