Sale or Trade: Intes Micro 715D

The original Russian-made, 'built like a tank' 7-inch (178mm) Maksutov Cassegrain f/15 scope. This is the deluxe version with 1/8 wave Sital optics and an Interferometer Report. The field of view is flat and very contrasty. Stars are as close to 'pin-pricks' as you're going to get with a reflector.

It comes with:
  • Nylon semi-hard case for storage/transport
  • Losmandy dovetail rail
  • Built-in 12V DC cooling fan plus variable fan control cable (power supply not included)
  • Camera bracket (or can mount finderscope either side - note that finderscope not included)
  • Bintel 2" visual back (brand new)
Optional extra is a near-new ADM Losmandy-Vixen adapter I bought to use this scope on a Meade LXD75 mount.

The scope is in very good condition. New price is around $4000. I'm asking $1800 ono.

Due to size/weight shipping would be $100 (the shipping box has an Aussie Post sticker for $100.65 for delivery to me). I can deliver in the Sydney area for petrol money.

Will consider trade/part exchange for these items:

- Ioptron Mini Tower
- 10" Dobsonian

Feel free to ask any questions.

Thanks

Morton

Hi Brian. Specs list the weight as just under 8kg. I've been using it on a Skywatcher Skytee 2 mount and a meade LXD75 without any issues. The back of the tube has threads for standard SCT accessories. I've added a Bintel 2" visual back so it takes normal 2" accessories, i.e. refractor-type diagonal, etc.

Thanks
