PST solar scope with case.

I have a PST going up for sale shortly, that is a little bit different.
It comes with the factory case and eyepiece, and is ready to use and gives great views. Proms and surface detail are clearly visible.

It is one of the blue objective models, so no rust problem, and I have stripped it down completely so it can easily be modified by one of the many methods out there.

All of the near-impossible to remove threadlock has been removed, so it will be easy to attach to a larger aperture mod, such as the DENK 60mm mod, or your own modification. Over on solarchat people are modifying them up to 150mm in diameter.

I have also made it easy to remove the 'black box' to allow fitting of a crayford or helical focuser if you wanted to upgrade the focus mechanism.

It has been fully reassembled back to its original state, and the prism cleaned and re-aligned, so it is ready to use as a normal PST straight out of the box, but it is also a much easier scope to modify than a 'stock' PST.

I can post or IPEC it to anywhere in Australia, or could drop it off in the Blue Mountains this Friday afternoon.

I haven't come up with a price yet, (have to check what they currently sell for) so am open to offers. I will price it on Thursday if no takers by then.
I can upload pictures tonight if I get home in time.

You might want to post the serial number to ease peoples mind about the genre of the scope.

Good idea, I'll dig it out when I get home.
I've spent so much time looking at the objective, etalon and blocking filter, than I am very confident they have no issues at all.
It is one of the better etalons, I have had a few PSTs that I have checked out for people, and it gives better views than most I have seen.
They do seem to vary quite a bit for some reason.

Well, that was a bit of a feeding frenzy, it is now sold pending payment.

Thanks everyone.
