Orion Setting in Twilight Colours

Deep sky? not really. Landscape? not really. Solar system? definitely not. I dunno where this one belongs!

I love twilight colours. Can't get enough of them.

This shot has come out particularly well with the stars, they show up nicely.

Version with stars labelled at my blog.

Canon 7D @ 400 ISO
Canon 8-15 F/4L fisheye @ 10mm
Single exposure of 6 seconds @ F/5

Roger.

Gorgeous capture Roger I know what you mean about not knowing where these landscape astrophotography shots belong. Maybe it's time for the powers that be to have another image forum for these sort of things. I always feel bad about posting my nightsky scapes in the deep sky section.

Good idea ... it would be great to be able to browse two lists separately and not have the nightscape shots pushed down the list by quite different deepsky shots or vis-versa.
