Yes, another version of NGC6188, but not a wide field (this was posted in a different section before). It's taken 28km from Melbournes CBD, using Ha for the luminance, and a set of very short bin2x2 RGB subs to limit the prompt impact of my strong surrounding light pollution. Total: 161mins. Processing the colour layer was very difficult, involving a number of steps.

The scope being a CDK12.5, with STL-11000, Astronomik filters, on AP900GTO.

You have resolved that little cluster of stars at the top really well.

Your challenge is to do a 4 panel or greater mosaic of this object with your CDK.

Looks good Steve. The use of Ha and short subs have resulted in fewer and smaller stars than a normal LRGB image and this really helps brings out the nebulosity.

Ah yes, to AO or not to AO wasn't it..

Has a great mystical dark feel, very noice indeed.

Tilt?..not noticable, tilt is a bugger to remove 100% especially with large sensors.

Hello Rolf,

60sec subs for RGB, but 20mins per Ha sub.

I did a lot of data processing to get the final result, and well beyond what you'ld normally bother doing. But the weather had been so bad, I just kept at it.
