Morning Milky Way.

Hi,

Got up at 5.15 am to do some wide field imaging of the milky way setting. I took 14 x 20 sec subs at ISO 1600 plus 7 dark frames.

I processed two versions, one with two subs and 7 darks, to keep the tree's from trailing too much. The other all 14 subs plus darks, although it looks less noisy I prefer two frame version.

Canon 1100D ISO 1600 at F/3.5.
Stacked in DSS post process in Photoshop.

Cheers,

Justin.

Hi Justin, I like your first photo with the sharp trees. Have you tried removing/reducing the skyglow?

Cheers,

Dave
