a not-so-quick Eta Carinae while waiting

Waiting for Prawn Nebula to come over my roof, thought I'd try some loooong subs on Eta Carinae. I've never really shot longer than 8 min subs, but doing narrowband lately I'm realising I need to push the limits. So I tried some 16 min subs. Quite pleased with the results. Gives me confidence to play harder.

Looks like your mount and guide equipment can handle 16 mins subs, nice result.

Great shot Troy.

Nice detail and tones.

The 16 min subs look to be a success.

Ross.
