My vision of the transit of Venus

G'Day All,
Been a long week ,a bit slow getting this to you all ,but last week I spent 2 hours watching venus from Civic Park Newcastle.
This is how it happen ,I bought the last PST from Bintel and was going watch the transit form my home in Singo between my morning and afternoon bus run.
But the boss told me I had a charter on that day to Newcastle with a load of rug rats to the Civic Theatre ,though a little piss off my wife told me to take the scope with me in case it was clear which I did .
The kids saw the transit as well anyone walking through the the park that day who came over and ask me what I was doing. When I got back to Singo only to find that it was coved in cloud for most of the Transit.
It was amazing to find how many people had no idea that it was happing

See, you were meant to see it. We are next door to a private senior school and there was not one person outside looking up - it appears they did nothing at all to educate the students on this marvel happening in our skies. And for us it was visible ALL DAY - every blessed second of it. The common herd are unbelievable . . . .

I gave all the information nessesary to our local primary school so that they could view the transit on the interactive whiteboards in each classroom, yet my daughter told me that they did not get to see it even once. At least I tried.
