M17

Got some good results with M16 the other night, so I thought I'd move over to M17 and have a crack. Think it turned out pretty good.
Still cant get the spacing right on the darn Coma corrector though.....

This one is 2 Hours 20 Minutes, 14 x 10 minutes subs with the QHY10 and 10" Newt

You've got a lot of nice nebulosity happening in the image.
A bit more contrast and a boost of saturation will polish it off.
You can fix up that bit of coma using the Lens Correction filter in PS.

Hi Erik,

Nicely done!

You have a lot of nebulosity to play with, that will keep you busy for hours.

Cheers,

Justin.

I have had a run on clear nights now so I got some M8 data also which ill post tomorrow. think that will be it for a while, the clouls are rolling in for the week.
