ngc 4945 Data added

NGC 4945
Taken with a modified Canon 20d and shot through an ED80 scope.
1 hour and 35 minutes of exposure time @ ISO 400.
I've enlarged this crop of the galaxy by 200% to show the detail better.
Imagine how much better it would look if I had a larger scope.

I'm now up to 3hrs and 35 minutes of data, in using 5 minute subs.

There's a lot of detail in there really JJJ. You'd have to be happy with that. So nice to have clear skies finally.

Wow that's a beauty.

Impressive for an 80mm scope.

Greg.

Very nice view JJ. I would like to see a wider field to include the other close by galaxy.

Nice one JJJ - you really are squeezing that 80mm to death. I'd like to see the wider image though.

I do have a wider view of this one. But have added a couple of extra hours of data to the image so a complete repro is in order.

Marcus, I've had 3 8" imaging scopes, but for various reasons have moved them on.
I'm seriously considering buying another RC8 though. I never got the chance to give my old one a good work out.
