One overcooked prawn and one under cooked.

Hi,

These images of IC 4628 the prawn nebula, is the first time Iv'e used a combination of ISO 800 and 1600, a total of two hors fiteen minutes.

I mucked around for ages processing, and came up with two versions, need to take some new darks for the colder weather. The darks I'm using were taken on warmer nights.

Telescope 8” f/4 astrograph on a HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Unmodded Canon 1100D at ISO 800.
17 x 300 sec subs ISO 800, 10 x 300 sec subs ISO 1600.
24 dark frames, 16 flat frames and 11 bias.
Stacked in DSS and post process in Phototshop.
Cheers,

Justin.

Thanks jj,

I think I'm doing quite well and then I see images like yours, make me realise I still have a way to go yet.

Cheers,

Justin.
