My 1st crack at astrophoto

Partial Lunar Eclipse
Taken from Carrara, Gold Coast
804 823 and 944pm
Dobsonian 8inch with 25mm plossl eyepiece
Excellent viewing
No wind
Moonrise 28 to 35deg
Canon ixus 105

nice clean pics mate . Did you have the camera mounted on one of those clamp on mounts or just hand hold? Camera at it's max zoom (4x?) or not.

The camera wasnt mounted and was just held @ autofocus. Did ok considering id had a couple of large glasses of Sauv Blanc. My 7 and 5 yr old boys loved the moonviews and found the eclipse very exciting.
