NGC 6188 in Ha

Seems to be a popular object to image ATM.

2 hours of 5min subs, darks and flats using a W.O 72mm Megrez and Moravian G2-8300 with Astronomik 12nm Ha filter.

Unfortunately the flattener-camera distance is not optimal as there is an amount of coma present. A few threads suggest extending the distance so i'll try it out.

Thanks for looking

Thanks Rick, a few threads have suggested extending the flattener>camera distance might remove the coma so I'll give that a try

Looks great, Geoff! Just tweaking that spacing should do the trick.

One thing took me a while to notice. I was trying to figure your composition there, and I think your image is actually mirrored, ie back to front.

Thanks Guys just waiting on some spacers for the flattener.

Troy, I'm sure that's the way the Moravian downloads the image in Nebulosity.
I'll check to see if there is a setting I can change..cheers

Nice work Geoff. Haven't had a chance to chat for quite a while. Looks like there is a bit of a trend towards lower aperture/wide FOV currently? The Megrez seems to be a nice scope.
