Just finished a removable fan cooler for my scope, the idea is I collimate the scope run the fan, cool the mirror, then keep fan running at idle speed for duration of viewing. Once in Observatory shouldnt need to collimate scope THAT often, as it wont be moving much.
Actually I did think of doing that to it but decided on the easy way out. I dont think for what I am using the scope for, which is mainly visual, it wouldnt make much of a difference.
So I will stick with fans for now, seems to do a good job, cooled the tube down anyway LOL. and there are pleanty of holes in my tube for heat to escape from.
