Nice Photo Leon.
I picked Easter just to be Topical.
Almost any photo taken in the next week would qualify.
I wanted to see the different takes on what Easter meant to different people.
Hopefully it will be a popular theme with varied interpretations.
I haven't yet decided what I will do.
But, eggs and bunnies are also valid perspectives, for those with youngens.

Thank you, your right of coarse Allan, there is no intent on my part to push any issues here, we too give the young ones cocky eggs and stuff, it was the first image that came to mind when i saw the subject for this month, I'm sure you will get some excellent images here.

mmm, I'm not one for celebrating rabbits and chocky eggs, it is however a more personal thing with the christ and ransom ? ?
I so hope I dont ruffle any feathers if my entry leans to this side of the topic ? ? : )

I reckon since the majority of you heathens on IIS don't belive in Christ, you should all get back to work and have no holiday on Friday and Monday.

OOOOhhhhh I'm gonna pay for that.....

I fully agree with that statement. But given the TOS, I'm glad you had the guts to say that.

Steve you got Jupiter in the lower left as well.

Barry and Chilli, I resent the inference that most of us are heathen... I think there is a sizable minority are pagan (there is a difference) , this time is a celebration of the northern vernal equinox. On the subject of holidays, the majority are Australian, and we don't need much of an excuse for one, isn't there a push for a national holiday for a HORSE RACE??

I hope that everyone enjoyed their Christianised pagan fertility festival, however you want to look at it

Tony, you left out the atheists and agnostics.

I won't stir the pot going into the origins of the dates of Xmas and Easter.
