OK, probably not what most would consider Easter, this is however where the celebrations for this period are held, a little different, but Easter isn't really chocolate eggs delivered by a rabbit

Fireworks - Good Friday 2012
Rockingham Foreshore.

I was just finishing installing a new stereo head unit in my car when I heard the fireworks, quickly threw everything back together and made it to the beach just in time to catch the last 20 seconds of the finale.

Easter Full Moon

The word 'Easter' probably derived from Eostre, a Saxon goddess whose festival was held at the northern spring equinox. Easter is held on the first Sunday after the Full Moon which happens upon or next after the 21st day of March.

This is the Easter Full Moon from the 7th April 2012. I have never been able to see a Man in the Moon, but I can see a rabbit.

Taken at Port Victoria "the last of the Windjammer ports" on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula on our Easter Holidays.
I think this is a Crepuscular ray as i really have not seen any before in real life, only in pictures.
I managed to grab Venus in the top right of screen too

Like Stu, I've opted for the Full Moon that sets the date of Easter. Here it is rising out of the haze on Easter Saturday, from Mt Coot-tha in Brisbane.
