Orion Setting

Another from my trip to the goldfields..

http://blog.astrophotography.com.au/...n-setting.html

Tech details:

Stars/sky: 15 x 60 seconds @ F/4 @ 1600ISO (Canon 7D). Stacked in DSS as two separate groups such that the silhouettes could be controlled as Orion approached too close to them.

Foreground: A combination of 5 exposures of various lengths and uses of lights to get the desired light effect.

Processing of sky & foreground in Photoshop (lots of layers etc).

Enjoy

I'd enjoy receiving any feedback, positive or otherwise

Roger.
