M8 and NGC 5128

Still early days as an imager!

Experimenting with slightly longer exposures (for me!). These are stacks of 5 minute exposures through the cheap 80mm refractor, using the C9.25" as the guider. I have fixed some scope balance issues, so now I am not having any more troubles with my DEC at times running away while guiding.

M8: 4 x 5 minute (plus 20 darks and 20 bias)
NGC 5128: 8 x 5 minute (plus 20 darks and 20 bias)
Camera: ATIK 320E
Scope: 80mm f/5 refractor
Guider: QHY5 using PHD
Stacking Software: AstroArt

Weather has been cruel lately. Hopefully I can get a lot longer exposures and more of them in the future...
