NGC 6888 again

This image resulted from a mistake I made in setting up my latest imaging script in Arizona. I thought I had set it up for IC5146 but the coordinates were still set up for NGC 6888 so I got a totally unexpected extra 3 hours of Ha for this object. Anyway I think the extra data has improved the original. There's more of the faint stuff visible now.

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve,

That's an awsome DSO, nice one!

Obviously needs a lot of exposure to bring out the detail.

Cheers,

Justin.

Steve, i think its pretty baked now it looks very stark and over processed. Possibly starting from scratch may allow you to process it slightly different?

Yeah - point taken. I can't say I'm completely happy with it myself. The trouble is that I seem to get much the same result whichever way I process it. I'll try again.
