Saturn 19th April

Seeing wasn't as good as last night (18th) but it came close at times.

In the shot, Enceladus & Dione.

Beautiful!

Well done on the Saturn image - I especially like the moon. It was a fairly clear night in Brisbane last night but as is the norm in such conditions I had family matters to attend to!! So there was no imaging for me...

Cheers,
Mario

Thanks guys.

I've been hunting Mimas for ages & finally got it last night. Thought I'd keep this one 'El-natural' & at capture scale. F30.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm very happy with my setup now, whereas I really struggled the first 5 years imaging due to mainly, the technology wasn't really there for one shot colour imaging; well it's certainly here now ;-)

Hi John,
Really a great image. I love the way you've included the moons. I've been trying to do something like this recently, but I've had no success. Would you mind sharing your technique?

I explained this in one of my threads somewhere, but I can't find it now

Basically I do it the same way as Darryl explains in your thread on CN although I have done compo's by using the DMK with no filtering.
