Pony Club Friday 13th

Hi guys.
Weather predictions indicate Friday may be the best night to head up to the Pony Club for some dark clear skies.
Moon rise is around midnight so that gives us a few hours.

I will be there with my new scope if you want to join me.

This Saturday looks to be totally clouded out.
Long range predictions for next Saturday are not too good also. So this may be the best opportunity for April.

Sorry for the late notice.

Fantastic night, best conditions for a long time.
And the serenity!
Milky way horizon to horizon.
Some good and memorable views.

Dave and I enjoyed the night, but were sorry not to share it with others.

So we did. This is a 20 second exposure of Allan and the Milky Way. The Milky Way stayed relatively still for the photo, however Allan did not.

It was a good night. I learned quite a lot about barlows and dew amelioration and got the best views of Saturn I've yet seen. Thanks Allan.
