Saturn 18th April - lovely seeing

Someone is definitely on my side. Only a couple of nights ago I was whining how I haven't clapped eyes on any Fab seeing since early febuary & low & behold, it turned up tonight. The seeing was incredible most of the time & I was just glued to the live feed drooling, & kneeling on concrete for hours (which I'll pay for the next few days ) When you can see a perfect CD all the way round, with the planet through the CD & crepe ring, each globe band clearly as well as storms in the live feed, you're onto a bloody winner GO QUEENSLAND!

This image doesn't do the AVI I have in front of me justice, but I'll try again tomorrow. 7 more AVI's to go, as well as Mono L R G & B data.

It was beautiful out there tonight.
I'm glad it was the same for you too.
A lovely Saturn.
You need a yoga mat to kneel on. Save your knees.

Did a quick mono DMK run but not for RGB final image purposes. I wanted to pick up any storm details but unfortunately they were out of rotation ATT.

Nice Johnno. I had a night like that a month ago now, but it was worth being out there. Well done on the images.

Thats the go Asi, last night the CMIII of the NNTrZ spot (Approx CMIII 311) was at the CM very early, 8:39 PM CST. It is worth imaging within an 90 min's either side of crossing the CM and it is most prominent in the R channel and in better seeing the G channels as well. If it brightens as many of these SED's related spots have in the past then it will come up in all channels.

Regards
Trevor
