QHY8 Nubulosity Offset help please

I have Nebulosity 5 and am wanting to set the Gain to the correct settings. I have taken short Bias shots to get the pixel count to around 1000 as I have read.. I am not sure I am looking at the correct setting in the Pixel status panel... Can somone please confirmm that I should be looking at the Min: around 1000. That is what I have got with an offset of 131. Just want to be sure to be sure...

Offset of 131 with the histogram bell around 1000 sounds ok. To set gain on a qhy, I normally expose it for 5 sec to full daylight to saturate the sensor and adjust gain so the max value is close to 65K but not over.

There is a document somewhere that explains it in detail but I forget where it is. Might be this one.
