Buttonquail and blowfly

Both of these are residents of the front yard. I've been stalking the Painted Buttonquail for a very long time and today was the first good photo that I've managed. The Australian Sheep Blowfly (according to Museum Victoria app) was a much more co-operative sitter.

Canon 500D with 100-400 for the bird, 100mm f2.8 macro for the fly.
