A bunch of Deep Space images from an astro camp weekend

Hi guy's...

A bunch of images at:

<!--StartFragment -->http://www.rogergroom.com/rogergroom/esh_rog_gallery.jsp?Item=271

- Scorpius (Narrow & Wide)
- Milky Way around M6 & M7
- LMC
- IIS passing overhead (not really Deep Space, but oh well)

I'm happy with most but the LMC. I'm surprised how little detail I got from the LMC for such exposure time, compard to my 80 min and even 20 min film exposures. Also the colour balance isn't right on that one, not sure why the reds didn't get picked up, perhaps I needed to manually set the White Balance or something. Zooming in on NGC 2070 it's completely blue - nice detail there, but blue. Odd.

Overall happy with the results.

Roger.

Yep great shots. With the tarantula neb, it always seems to have a lot of blue in it with DSLRs. Only with modified cameras (I.R. filter removed) does it start to appear red, however its often possinle to play with Curves in Photoshop in the red channel to add some red to compensate.
