Mars 5th April

I think Mars is now of the size where it's only shootable in pretty rock 7+ seeing but in this case, AS!2 saved the day with some careful stacking/Paint.net processing. I've gotten away from my normal colour balance on this one to try to get any thin cloud partially visible.

Thanks Ray. I'm finding my success on this planet almost uncanny. The seeing was pretty ordinary, & yet AS!2 worked wonders yet again to produce a passable stack. I'm super impressed with AS!2 as well as my luck right now. Not many would know how hard it is to get a successful image from this target now, & it's just getting harder every passing night.

Thanks JJJ. Yes, have a go at Mars before it's too late!

Really nice result Asi, AS 2 is just sooo good and yep, Mars is becoming more difficult, reckon the extra couple of degrees alt up your way should help you go longer with it.

Regards
Trevor
