Thanks Marcus. Posting full res is allways ricky as not too many people have the monitors to view them so at least this way gives a choice. What is general consenus for appropriate image size that fits most monitors now days ? I imagine most laptops and monitors run about 1280pixels now ?

Thanks. I got the Pro Plus package which comes with Camera, OAG, 8 position Filter wheel, full set of LRGB, Ha, OIII and SII filters, plus STi guider. At the intro price from memory its about 5.9k. Peter Wards pricing was competitive with OPT in USA so I got mine from Peter.

Thanks Greg. No doubt I will revisit all my favourites with STX to compare. Be an interesting comparison to shoot exact same subject for same length exposure on same scope. STX gets much cooler though. I did some testing last night and STX was getting delta -50

Thanks Ross. No doubt having decent gear is half the battle and fortunately or unfortunately this is one hobby where money can buy you better results. Processing is still half the battle though and the great leveller but having good data from reliable equipment certainly is nice.
