Excellent optics from Meade mounted on solid EQ6 and driven by EQMod modification to the EQ6. JMI motorised focuser. Can be driven from the hand paddle or planetarium.

Comes with a 950mm pier. A great medium - level set up to get into planets, moon, astrophotography. (Sorry, SBIG camera not included!).

This scope has been the interim while my 22" has undergone a long refurb - other addicts will understand!

Look forward to it. THis is a great rig as I stated. Once I get my larger scope going again I simply won't use this one. Clean, crisp images, small enough to handle well but still 12" which is a very good size. The pier makes for rock solid support and the whole thing can be stored in a small lawn locker or remove the scope when not using it!
