Eta Carina 190 mins in HA

Hi all
With a bit of moon about I decided to get out the Baader 7nm HA filter and do a deep HA of Eta Carina Neb. I only stopped when the scope ran out of travel and would have required a meridian flip. Seeing was quite good and no wind to buffet the scope. Thankfully the off axis guider had a separate pickoff prisim that doesnt go through the HA filter.

19x10 mins UV/IR and Baader 7nm HA filter. Modded 350D, 10 inch f5.6 newtonian, off axis hand guided.

Full size version here

Thanks all
Because my camera is colour, when imaging in HA after calibrating I get rid of the blue and green and only keep the red channel and only have to worry about noise in the red channel, essentially Im only using red pixels of the image sensor, I just didnt realise at first I wasnt pushing the final image as hard as I could

Great shot Scott!!

You can see the Fickle Finger and 666 HH nicely too

That area is just so full of interesting details, it has gotta be one of the most feature packed area's of the sky.
