Flaming chooks....

After many aborted exposures due cloud, aircraft and low earth orbit rubbish....

I got a little colour data tonight.

A first quarter moon was not helping at all with gradients...but figured I'd post the evening's results. Needs a total re-shoot but, hey, it was sort of clear

The link is here.

Hmmm, looks promising but I think you're pushing your luck with that small an amount of colour data AND a first quarter moon. I'd probably give the core some more green curve (it's too purple IMO). And surely there's more contrasty HA goodness in there busting to get out (?)

Fair enough!

... Probably make some changes but..suspect the data just isn't deep enough to be tinkered with very much.

P.S. Attached..dammed aviators!

Green & Red streaks ?
Looks like Alitalia Flight 2944.

Nice image though Pete, I kinda like the purple hues.

If it was Alitalia...they were lost

Exactly.
Could have been worse, could have been Olympic Airways.
