First guided attempt - but can't get colour in DSS

Hi all

Got the guider finally working after removing the terrestial prism and using a focal extender tube.
The attached is a stack of 15 second images and some dark frames and only a couple of dark flats.

We can't seem to get the colour raw images to come out in colour on DSS. We are using an ATIK 320E. Anyone else out there using the same camera?

Any thoughts, comments welcome. Just remember we are very new at imaging!!

Looks like it needs debayering, Grant.

Under Settings for DSS, there is some radio button options that talk about the Bayer Matrix Transformation. I have never played with these as I have a mono camera, but it may help..

See image linked below, this may need to be turned on?

In DSS make sure you tell it the bayer filter pattern of the camera.

find out what the bayer pattern is and then select one it will be either RGB or CMYK but more than likely RGB something like RGGB. If you cant find it just keep going though them till you find the right mixture. you will see it pretty quick if your in the ball park.

The ATIK Sony sensor is RGGB.

Hello Grant. Did RGGB fix the problem? I notice others having colour problems with DSS.
