Mars 25th March

I started imaging a bit early as I really wanted to get up later to catch Saturn, but this was as good as it got
10:44UT, 2000/20000 frames 14" SW Dob @f21. Resampled 150% A bit more elevation would have been nice

A good effort Rob, the jetstream has been an issue for about a week now so I think you have done pretty well with this.

It's always difficult (for me) to deal with average seeing, as I am eager to see what I can get on a great night Meanwhile Mars is retreating quickly
I guess we are all in the same boat though

Yes, Mars is on the retreat quickly. Tonight I had to drop back to F22 & boy it looks pretty small at that scale in the C11.

Yes it's amazing how much difference one arcsecond makes
You would think it should hardly be noticeable But it's easy to see
