Laser Pointers - Yes this chestnut again

Sorry, but I must have been living on Mars..in a cave..with my eyes closed and my fingers in my ears.

Have Laser Pointer been banned from Australia and therefore not available through places like Bintel. Looking at purchasing one.

Opps..cancel that. Found what I was looking for on the Sirius Optics website...I thought Bintel would have sold them.

In Victoria, you will need a police permit to own one but not in QLD or NSW.
Very confusing indeed.

Laws regarding possession vary on a State to State basis.

Best to check with your local Firearms/Weapons Division.
