Deep Sky night at Bakers Hill (WA) - Help needed

Hi everyone,

I desperately want to go to a dark sky night (I've never been). I"m not yet a member of ASWA (but I do plan to join).

I come here with short sob story and a wish for help.

My car and my tripod are still in Sydney (I came to Perth in December).

Just this morning my flatmate had his car (that I was going to borrow) impounded by the police because he was driving on a suspended licence (idiot).

So here's what I need:

A lift.
And some kind people there who might let me look through their scopes from time to time.

Here's what I'll offer in return:

Petrol money.
Beer/snacks/food (whatever really).. let me know.
Excellent conversation skills. Ask about the time police took my flatmates car.

Does anyone have room for little old me ?
