Rosette in different RGB permutations

Here is the Rosette Nebula, an astrophotography cliché, but nonetheless a joy to image. This short sequence was an experiment in combining the different narrow band colour channels in different ways to emphasise different aspects of the data, as well as exploring aesthetic possibilities.

Taken with an NP127is at f/5.2 with H alpha, OIII, and blue filters, and a cooled Canon EOS 50D set at ISO 3200.

Yes, very different. Really shows the different band passes of light.

Some good detail, too!
