Anniversary Birds.

Hi,

I was lucky enough to take some reasonable close up images of a red wattle bird and rainbow lorikeet.
Although pretty common, I've never been able to get this close before. My wife kathy and I were staying at a two story beach shack at Port Hughes S.A for our 28th wedding anniversary, and there's a gum tree four metres away from the second story balcony. So i was right amongst the bird action.

I used my canon 1100D on full auto settings but with manual focus at 300mm. The birds moved around so quickly, and auto focus couldn't cope with branches and leaves close together.

Cheers,
Justin.

I suppose there's some similarity, they both fly around a bit.

Cheers,

Justin.
