Allsky Camera Test Tonight (Thursday 08/03)

Hi All

I recently got a Moonglow Allsky camera.
I am currently testing the camera to see what it can do.
For a bit of fun, I have it uploading live images every 5 minutes to my website. The images will continue to be updated to around 11:00pm Qld time tonight.

http://www.tcobservatory.com/allsky.html

The camera is currently sitting on a box in the backyard, it will eventually be mounted onto the roof for a better view.

Orion is visable in the north / west. Pitty about the bright moon.

Cooooool Brendan

Looks great but that Moon is about to send the whole image white.
Funny how the house lights go on and off too

Overall, a great view so you know whether to set up or not

They're a great wee camera, IMO, and a good investment.

Looks like a very nice unit Brendan. It is weatherproof as well. Performance is very good.

This is a thread from some time back (2006) where a possum sat on my all sky camera.

The Moonglow Tech ASC is not much bigger than a salt shaker, and I suspect we'd see a lot more than we'd like should a possum ever try to sit on one.
