This
very capable little camera is in fabulous condition. It's not to be confused with the standard Canon point and shoot line - this is a complex and capable camera in a small package. It comes with original box, disks, instruction manual, original battery and charger and a Canon EOS DSLR neck strap. Also included an extra battery and a 4GB SD card - all set to go. I'll even throw in a remote shutter trigger.
I'm loathed to sell it, but I've come across one of my all time favourite cameras, a Leica M8 that I'm buying, so the G10 becomes superfluous to my needs unfortunately. All the same, I really do like this camera and if it doesn't sell I won't fret one iota...
This is a bit of a classic Canon camera, some say more in demand now than it was at release. With 14.7Mp sensor - later G11 and G12 models have dropped back in resolution and arguably aren't as solidly built as the G10. Excellent optics at low ISO and for non-action photography it can rival DSLRs, and easily gives my 5D-Mark II a run for it's money in some conditions. See the wedding cake example photo which was shot indoors at a wedding reception on low light. Also, see a shot of Humayun's face while he was holding up a white balance card. The shot is balanced against that card. Lovely. Plenty of pro's have these in their kit as backup to their larger bodies, and given that the RAW format is compatible with its larger siblings, it plays very well in DPP.
Total actuations would be under 6,000. I reset the counter every format, so it's hard to give you the exact total.
I'm asking $355 inclusive of standard postage anywhere in Australia. This is a serious second camera if you already own a high-end DSLR. It's great to have in the bag to take along on shoots. It works brilliantly with the 430EX II Speedlite I have (used to photograph the wedding cake) and 540EX-II units. The manual is a cracker - it's actually substantially thicker than that received with my 5D Mark-II! No Lie. It's a complex beast.
First to PM me they'll take it get's it.
