Excellent photos Greg, that sure is a nice ‘scope! Did you focus through the viewfinder or via Live View, the focus is spot on. Lovely colours.

Cheers

Thanks Dennis. It doubles as my high quality super telephoto. Its somewhat portable as well.

Through the viewfinder. I think I will use live view next time with the 10X zoom feature as it is so handy. The TEC though tends to snap to focus so it is fairly easy to see.

Thanks David.

I'll have a Nikon D800 in a month so I'll be interested to see how much sharper it can become.

Thanks Stephen.

I am hoping to image the shy Bellbird. They tend to hop inside a tree to be out of sight but I occassionally see one in plain view.

I don't think they have been imaged much because they are only in certain areas, not generally and they are quite shy.

Greg.
